170 Exempt Solvent is a high-purity, low-toxicity product that is composed primarily of C₁₀ - C₁₅ cycloparaffinic and isoparaffinic hydrocarbons. 170 Exempt Solvent is environmentally friendly and meets numerous FDA regulations (21 CFR) for direct and indirect food additives. Penreco has determined that 90% of this product meets the low vapor pressure (LVP) VOC exemption for consumer products as set by the California Air Resources Board.
