Conosol C-170 is a high-purity, low-odor aliphatic solvent composed primarily of C₁₀ -C₁₅ cycloparaffinic and isoparaffinic hydrocarbons. It is a low toxicity product that contains less than 0.5% aromatics, and it is environmentally friendly and meets numerous FDA regulations (21 CFR) for direct and indirect food additives. Penreco has determined that 90% of this product meets the low vapor pressure (LVP) VOC exemption for consumer products as set by the California Air Resources Board.
